Multiple punching in combination with V-sawing
MPS specializes in automatic production lines for punching and sawing, including customization with its own MPS-Control software. Optionally, short products can be stacked using a robot. The process begins with identifying requirements, followed by a customized layout. Safety is paramount thanks to smart enclosures, fencing, and light curtains.
Automation of the supply section
The MPS punching and sawing machine has an automatic buffer magazine for efficient supply of profiles.
After starting a batch, the control screen displays the correct magazine position for each profile shape.
The operator can reload profiles during production, which increases the machine's uptime.
Servo-controlled MPS positioning systems equipped with MPS gripper systems are used for accurate and fast automatic positioning.
The machining section
The machining section is fully enclosed for optimum safety. The machine is equipped with nine punching units: six horizontal and three vertical, mounted on servo-controlled slides for accurate Y and Z positioning.
The V-sawing machine, with two servo-controlled sawing units, ensures an extremely fast and precise cut.
Thanks to a slim-designed gripper arm, the push-up system can get close to the sawing unit, allowing for minimal scrap. Both the sawing and punching units are lubricated via centrally located micro-dosing systems.
Automation of the discharge section
The products are discharged to the front. Products with a length of 75 mm or more are picked up by the servo-controlled discharge gripper and transported to the discharge magazine.
The discharge magazine transports the products step by step in a transverse direction to the removal position.
For optimal production uptime, the machine is divided into two safety zones.

The MPS control software optimizes the machining sequence for maximum efficiency. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to enter programs. All MPS machines have the same software structure and HMI control. The 3D display provides immediate insight into production. MPS Control is linked to your work preparation, allowing new batches to be loaded with a single click. Status and OEE data are easily logged.
