When reporting a malfunction, it is important that you provide the information from the machine identification plate. This information is essential in order for us to provide you with the best possible service.

In the unlikely event that there is no MPS identification plate on the trolley or the electrical control box, the number can also be found on the front page of the electrical diagram. If your machine does not have an electrical diagram or identification plate, please send a photo of the machine plate on the machine itself.

Our service coordinator will assess how we can help you most efficiently and effectively. This includes remote login to the machine as one of the options. Software and/or electronic malfunctions can thus be detected quickly and resolved where possible.

If it concerns an older measuring system, such as an MPS 2010 or 4010, there is a sticker on the back with the year of manufacture and serial number. It is also important that, if possible, the company name of the first purchaser is mentioned. This is because our technical archive is sorted by company name.
