Algerabrug closed from August 10 to September 7

At Van Dulst Techniek, we usually think bigger, smarter, and more innovatively. But during the closure of the Algerabrug, we’re temporarily opting for a smaller solution instead.

From August 10 through September 7, the Algerabrug, part of the N210, will be closed to all traffic. As a result, an important route between Krimpen aan den IJssel and Capelle aan den IJssel will be temporarily unavailable, and many businesses will need to account for detours and extra travel time.

To ensure we can continue to reach our customers in the area effectively, we’re temporarily swapping our large truck for a special colleague: a Piaggio Ape. This compact vehicle is ideal for transporting smaller orders, parts, and materials.

Thanks to the Piaggio Ape, we can use the bike and pedestrian path near the bridge. This allows us to remain flexible and prevents construction work or deliveries from being unnecessarily delayed. For larger deliveries, we will, of course, use alternative routes.

If you hear a cheerful hum around Krimpen and the Algerabrug in the coming weeks, take a good look around. Chances are you’ll see our smallest new addition driving by.

From August 10 through September 7, please be aware of detours and allow for extra travel time. Sometimes, smaller is simply the smartest solution.
