Van Dulst presents European premiere at Techni-Show 2024

Published on 18 January 2024Reading time: 3 minutes

Van Dulst Techniek will be exhibiting various impressive installations at the Techni-Show in Hall 8 D070. A notable feature is the Mecal MC305 Kosmos TM machining centre with a spherical robot loader. The Mecal 305 Kosmos TM is a compact 4-axis CNC-controlled machining centre, specifically designed for aluminium or steel profiles. The working length is 4,225 mm, Y-axis 530 mm, Z-axis 410 mm and an A-axis of 125 degrees. It is also equipped with an 8-position tool magazine.

This means that the labour-intensive task of automatically loading and unloading the profiles can be solved with an automatic loader, in this case a Yaskawa Robot. The entire system can be delivered as an integrated package.

In addition, the 24L CNC circular sawing machine will be on display with a long-stroke feed magazine and can be expanded with an MPS loading and unloading system. The circular saw machine has a 610 mm saw blade and a long radial stroke with a clamp retraction system. This allows large aluminium profiles to be cut to length without damage. This machine has been in high demand and widely used in a short period of time.

Of course, you will also learn about everything MPS has to offer in the field of production automation and production lines. From simple stop systems to complex loading magazines linked to operations such as cutting, drilling, milling and punching. MPS is constructed, assembled and installed in Krimpen aan den IJssel before being placed on site. In short, it is a home-grown machine. When it comes to machining complex profiles, Van Dulst Techniek with MPS is a suitable supply partner to work with.

MPS has recently started offering its own control system, MPS Control. The big advantage of MPS Control is that it can be linked to any ERP system. Production preparation and machining operations can be sent to the machine control system, after which the operations can be carried out after activation, but without any further intervention by an operator. A 3D simulation is included. MPS Control is suitable for the aforementioned operations and can be constructed in a modular fashion. All of this can be demonstrated at the Techni-Show.

And at the Techni-Show, Van Dulst Techniek will be showcasing the new Soco fully automatic profile laser. This is a European first, as this machine will not be on display in Germany until a month later. The Soco SLT-80 is a fibre laser installation with 10 controlled servo motor axes and a capacity of 12 to 80 mm. The machine comes standard with a 1.5 kW fibre laser source (2 kW and 3 kW possible) and is extremely fast. Soco is introducing a new concept in which the laser is mounted on the moving output clamp. This offers various advantages in terms of speed and extremely short residual pieces. The machine is also equipped with the well-known Soco i2 CNC control system and the IRMS (Internet Remote Monitoring System). In addition, this machine is very competitively priced.

In short, as always, there is plenty of news at the Techni-Show for production managers and machine operators.
