Van Dulst Techniek demonstrates innovative robotic loading system at TechniShow 2026
From the 10th to the 13th of March 2026, Van Dulst Techniek will be present at the TechniShow in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. During this leading trade fair for production, automation and precision technology, Van Dulst will present an advanced robotic loading system for long aluminium extrusion profiles. This solution responds to the structural labour shortage and the need for further automation within the manufacturing industry. You can find us in Hall 8 at stand D032!
Unique 3D Vision technology for long profiles
Although robot handling of smaller products has been commonplace for years, the automatic processing of metre-long profiles is a technically challenging issue. Profiles are rarely perfectly positioned in crates: they can be crooked, pressed against each other or partially slid under each other.
Van Dulst's solution combines vacuum handling from above with advanced 3D Vision technology. A new 3D image is created for each profile in the crate. The system analyses exactly how the profiles are positioned, independently determines the optimal picking order and automatically calculates the required gripping positions and rotations. The robot then picks up the profiles length by length and places them in a controlled manner on the machine's feed conveyor.
The robotic loading system will be demonstrated in detail during the TechniShow.
