MPS Automatic Production Line
This machine is primarily designed for high-speed drilling and sawing of base plates and wind bracing components. It is equipped with an 11 kW drilling motor, enabling holes with a diameter of 30 mm to be produced in material thicknesses of 25 mm in just 8 seconds.
Customization and safety
The realization of an automated production line begins with an inventory of your wishes and requirements, followed by a customized layout that fits into your production hall. Safety is central to MPS: the machines are both maximally accessible and safe thanks to the smart use of enclosures, fencing, and light curtains.
Automation of the feed section
Our machines can be fully automated in terms of profile supply, saving you on logistics and manual operations.
For automatic positioning, we use our high-quality, servo-controlled MPS positioning systems. These are equipped with MPS gripper systems to position your profiles accurately and quickly.
The machine shown here is equipped with a flat chain magazine. The various profile shapes and widths can be stacked together. A lift and carry system is provided for loading 1 profile onto the feed conveyor.
The processing section
The Cosen double-column miter saw machine takes care of the sawing. The saw frame with a 41 mm saw blade is equipped with advanced hydraulic saw feed, enabling short cycle times.
The vertical 11 kW drilling unit is CNC-controlled in two directions.
A pin-stamp marking unit is installed in the machine section. This reliable coding method provides the products with a unique code.
Automation of the discharge section
Our machines can be fully automated in terms of product discharge, saving you on logistics and manual operations.
The sawn products are transported to one of the output positions by means of a powered roller conveyor system and discharged transversely.
Transverse discharge can consist of tilting or a transverse conveyor equipped with chain conveyors.
State-of-the-art control software
The MPS control software optimizes the machining sequence for efficient production and is easy to use thanks to a clear interface. All MPS machines have the same software structure and HMI control, which offers ease of use. The 3D display clearly shows the status of production.
The software is linked to work preparation, allowing new badges to be loaded with a single mouse click, even during ongoing production. Status data and OEE information are easy to log for management reports.
