  1. What does Van Dulst's range as a technical wholesaler include?
    "

Van Dulst's range is very broad: we supply everything from a single screw to a complete machine. A collaboration can therefore start just as easily with a box of screws as with a complete machine.

In between, you will find everything a technical company needs, such as:

    • Power tools, such as hammer drills, drill drivers and diamond drilling machines
    • Drill bits for every material: twist drills, core drills and diamond drills
    • Hand tools, from hammers to screwdrivers
    • Metalworking machines, such as magnetic drilling machines
    • Standard production systems and custom-built machines through our machine building department

We also provide repairs and inspections of tools.

    "
  2. What are the main tool brands Van Dulst supplies?
    "

A large part of our power tools comes from Makita, for example hammer drills and drill drivers. We also work with a number of regular suppliers and carry our own brand, which we import directly from Japan, including diamond and core drills.

In addition, we work with a wholesale organisation in Germany that has a very extensive catalogue, where we purchase on favourable terms. This allows us to supply almost any brand or item a customer is looking for.

    "
  3. Can you also supply items that are not in your standard range?
    "

Yes. We not only have a standard range, but can also supply less common items. If you need a specific item number or a special product, we will look it up for you through our suppliers and can often supply it. Feel free to contact us with your request.

  4. What are the applications of metal bending?
    "

Metal bending is widely used by installers who build pipework and installations, where pipes need to be bent into the right shape. You also see it at companies that build frames and structures, all the way up to the construction of racing cars.

    "
  5. What are your options for working with concrete?
    "

There are roughly three options for working with concrete:

    • Drilling: with a masonry drill bit in a hammer drill, or with a diamond drill for larger holes and reinforced concrete
    • Chiselling: with a demolition or chipping hammer
    • Grinding and sawing: for making slots and cuts

In practice, drilling is by far the most common application.

    "
  6. Which machines are available for metalworking?
    "

A widely used machine for metalworking is the magnetic drilling machine. This is a drilling machine mounted on an electromagnet. You place the machine on a steel plate or beam, switch on the magnet and the machine is held firmly in place, even against a vertical surface. You then use a core drill to drill holes in steel quickly and accurately.

A magnetic drilling machine is also handy where space is limited. For example, one was used during work on the Van Brienenoord Bridge.

Do you have a specific operation that comes up often? Then we can also develop a custom solution through our machine building department.
