Product Features of the Cosen C-520 NC
The Cosen C-520 NC is equipped with a double-column saw frame, a heavy-duty drive system, and a 7.5 kW motor. The machine also features a user-friendly programmable control system.
Using the innovative SNC-100 touchscreen control by Cosen, coupled with a Mitsubishi PLC unit, each job can be easily programmed for cutting lengths and quantities. The SNC-100 system can store up to 100 sawing jobs and automatically compensates for blade thickness when cutting lengths exceed the feed stroke.
The single feed stroke ranges from 0 to 500 mm. Blade scraping and clamping are prevented by the blade life extension function. This retract module produces a cleaner cut, and any cutting length up to 99 metres can be programmed.
Construction and Drive of the Cosen C-520 NC
Construction
Reduced blade tension is achieved through vertically mounted guide wheels. The round columns provide smooth surfaces, while a bridge above the columns reduces vibration. The machine is equipped with two guides for optimal material transport.
Drive
The drive system is designed for high forces, making the Cosen C-520 NC exceptionally powerful. This robust drive prevents thermal overload and extends machine lifespan. Band speed is infinitely adjustable via LED readout on the control panel.
