Machine maintenance: an overlooked necessity?

Under the Working Conditions Act, you have a duty of care to (have) your installations, equipment and machines periodically inspected and maintained. We can take that responsibility off your hands. By entering into a maintenance agreement, we periodically inspect (and report on) whether your machines still comply with the work equipment directive and the associated standards.
Preventive maintenance is an essential part of the risk inventory and evaluation (RI&E). Every machine requires maintenance; this maintenance may be simple or sometimes more labour-intensive. Naturally, manufacturers provide guidelines indicating what maintenance is required and at which intervals. However, these recommendations are often not fully followed for various reasons.
